About the Role
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging designs across various mediums, including print and digital. This individual will work closely with departments within the organisation to develop concepts and bring them to life through innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create original designs for print and digital assets, including but not limited to advertisements, brochures, logos, social media graphics, and website layouts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Translate client briefs and ideas into visually stunning designs that effectively communicate the desired message.
- Develop design concepts, mockups, and prototypes to present to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Execute design projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified timelines.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design materials and platforms.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve design skills and knowledge.
- Assist with photo editing, retouching, and other post-production tasks as needed.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Midweight designer with experience of 35 years of professional graphic design experience (in-house, agency, or studio), with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design work.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
