About the Role
At Stratogo, we are seeking an experienced Group Demand Planner to join our team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by analyzing market trends and demand patterns to inform strategic planning decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future demand
- Develop and maintain accurate demand plans for our products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to ensure alignment and effective execution of demand plans
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities that may impact demand patterns
- Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders on demand performance and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning or a related role
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. APICS, CSCP) an advantage
