About the Role
Stratogo is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Group HR Executive to join our FMCG team at a senior/executive level. As part of our group, you will be responsible for leading our human resources function and ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation. You will have the opportunity to operate at Group Executive level and contribute to a high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives to drive business growth and improvement
- Lead union negotiations and collective bargaining to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Handle complex disciplinary matters and CCMA cases, ensuring compliance with labour legislation
- Provide expert guidance on employment law and policy development
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity and equity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources / industrial psychology / related field (Master’s degree advantageous)
- Minimum 8–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 5 years at senior/executive level
- Proven track record in union negotiations and collective bargaining
- Strong experience in ER/IR, including handling complex disciplinary matters and CCMA cases
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
