About the Role
The Production Manager – Welding & Industrial role is a critical position in our manufacturing facility, requiring an experienced professional to oversee production operations, manage workflows, and ensure compliance with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage order fulfilment, delivery schedules, and production targets
- Oversee workforce management, including performance management and disciplinary processes
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and ISO requirements (including ISO 3834)
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety compliance protocols
- Coordinate with teams to achieve production goals and meet customer expectations
Requirements
- Matric or relevant tertiary qualification
- SAIW or IIW Level 1 Welding Inspector Diploma (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a supervisory or production management role
- Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
- Knowledge of quality standards and ISO requirements (including ISO 3834)
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: SAIW or IIW Level 1 Welding Inspector Diploma (or equivalent)
