About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced HR Manager to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing payroll duties, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee payroll duties, including accurate and timely processing of payroll, normal and overtime pay for all employees
- Identify and correct occupational information, leave balance, and engagement/termination errors before final processing of payroll
- Prepare and submit the Annual Employment Equity report to the Department of Employment and Labour
- Ensure the company’s adherence to the Skills Development Act, including constituting the Skills Development Committee (SDC)
- Assist in preparation for internal and external audits relating to BBB-EE, Employment Equity Act, and Skills Development Act
Requirements
- Post-matric HR tertiary qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy including payroll systems and processes, preferably Buildsmart, Fusion, and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in IsiZulu (both written and spoken) is an added advantage
