Durban: Industrial Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Process Analysis & Optimization : Evaluate and redesign production processes to eliminate inefficiencies and improve throughput. Time & Motion Studies : Conduct studies to determine optimal cycle times and identify areas for improvement. Layout & Workflow Design : Develop and implement efficient plant layouts and material handling systems Cost Reduction Initiatives : Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements and waste elimination. Ergonomic Assessments : Ensure workstations are designed to minimize strain and maximize productivity. Data Analysis & Reporting : Utilize data analytics to monitor performance metrics and support decision-making. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to implement changes. Compliance & Standards Adherence : Ensure all processes comply with industry standards and regulations. Job Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. 35 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, and FMEA software. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Project Management experience
