About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Sales Consultant to join our team in Durban. As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the market.
- Contact prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and other sales initiatives.
- Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations to secure new business.
- Negotiate pricing and close sales while addressing customer concerns professionally.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer enquiries and product information.
- Provide professional advice on suitable products and solutions.
- Ensure a high level of service by responding promptly to customer requests.
- Gather feedback from clients and communicate insights to management and the sales team.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales records and documentation.
- Compile regular sales activity reports and performance updates.
- Monitor product availability and ensure awareness of stock levels when assisting customers.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Proven experience in a sales role such as Sales Executive, Internal Sales Consultant, or similar.
- Valid Drivers License (Code 08) and own vehicle.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
