About the Role
The Inventory Controller Assistant role is an ideal opportunity for a process-driven individual who thrives on accuracy, strong controls, and ensuring stock integrity across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee receiving and dispatch processes
- Ensure accurate GRV processing and stock capturing
- Reconcile daily stock movements
- Assist with batch tracking and production reconciliation
- Conduct and manage monthly stock counts
- Investigate, analyse, and report on stock variances
- Maintain strong administrative controls and reporting discipline
Requirements
- 25 years experience in stock control / warehouse administration
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or similar)
- Strong administrative and numerical ability
- Highly detail-oriented and process-driven
- Comfortable working on inventory systems and Excel
- Assertive and confident enough to question discrepancies and follow through on investigations
