Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Project Coordinator to join our team as part of our development programme. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in project coordination and management. The successful candidate will assist in supporting project teams to ensure that all aspects of assigned projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, and information
- Work closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to help track project progress
- Schedule and attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
- Maintain project documentation, plans, and reports
- Support in the preparation of presentations and status updates
- Help monitor project timelines and flag potential delays
- Communicate with team members to ensure alignment on tasks and deliverables
- Perform other administrative tasks related to project coordination as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
- Matric Certificate (with results).
- A strong interest in project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or final year student in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- No prior professional experience required – training and mentorship will be provided
