Job Description
A four-star hotel in Durban is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to focus on developing business across all segments. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections, sales experience, and the ability to drive growth across corporate, government, and leisure sectors.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple market segments

Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts to ensure repeat business
-
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
-
Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to specific market needs
-
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipelines for management
-
Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and networking engagements
-
Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to closure
-
Attend trade fairs, industry events, and networking functions to represent the hotel

Collaborate with operations and F&B teams to ensure client expectations are met

Monitor competitor activity and market developments
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3 years experience in hospitality sales, preferably with four-star properties
-
Strong database of industry contacts across multiple segments
-
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
-
Well-presented, professional demeanour with strong communication skills
-
Proven ability to work independently and deliver results
-
Must have own reliable transport and flexibility to travel as required
