Job Description
ERP & Systems Management:
- Act as the internal custodian of the Syspro ERP environment, ensuring the system operates reliably and supports operational and financial processes.
Warehouse & Operational Systems Support:
- Support and troubleshoot warehouse and operational systems integrated with Syspro to ensure seamless manufacturing and distribution processes.
Vendor & SLA Management:
- Manage relationships with outsourced IT service providers and ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs and operational requirements.
Systems Stability & Infrastructure Oversight:
- Monitor the performance and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring backup, disaster recovery and system resilience processes are maintained.
IT Projects & Continuous Improvement:
- Support technology initiatives and identify opportunities to improve systems, integrations and operational efficiency across the business.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with internal teams across Operations, Finance and Warehousing to ensure IT systems effectively support business requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Syspro Certification or formal Syspro training advantageous.
- Relevant Microsoft, SQL or ERP Certifications beneficial.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience in IT systems administration or IT operations.
- Proven hands-on experience supporting and administering Syspro ERP (essential).
- Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution or warehouse environment.
- Experience managing third-party IT service providers and SLAs.
Technical Skills:
- Strong Syspro ERP administration and troubleshooting.
- SQL Server knowledge including reporting and system troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting ERP integrations and operational systems.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks and systems environments.
- Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to perform after-hours or weekend maintenance when required.
