Job Summary
A leading company in the manufacturing and electrical sector, specializing in telematics solutions, is seeking a Technical Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in electrical systems as well as a high level of proficiency in technical reporting.
Location: Dube TradePort, Durban
Key Responsibilities:

Oversees the onboarding and technical training of telematics installers.
-
Provides real-time technical support and troubleshooting guidance to field teams.
-
Assists with the installation and fitting of telematics or electrical devices.
-
Applies electrical knowledge to ensure safe, compliant, and effective installations.
-
Maintains detailed records of installations, support calls, and training activities.
-
Compiles and submits accurate technical reports to management and stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
-
Demonstrated experience with telematics or electrical device installations.
-
Solid understanding of electrical systems, diagnostics, and fault-finding.
-
Strong reporting skills, with the ability to document and communicate technical information clearly.
-
Proven ability to train, guide, and support technical staff and installers.
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
-
High attention to detail and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
