Job Description
Litigation Secretary required for a reputable company based in East London
Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word; basic working knowledge of Excel advantageous.
- Experience with GhostPractice accounting system beneficial (training will be provided if necessary).
- Prior experience within a legal environment (Magistrates Court, Regional Court, or High Court) will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dictaphone typing and general typing duties accurately and efficiently.
- Screen and manage incoming calls and correspondence.
- Liaise professionally with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation records.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations within the legal team.

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach.
