About the Role
Our client, a leading horticultural supplier providing integrated propagation systems to nurseries worldwide, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production & Logistics Coordinator to oversee and streamline their production and logistics operations. This role is based near East London (Eastern Cape).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all company logistics, both domestic and international
- Manage production across multiple sites
- Maintain stock control and monthly inventory records
- Prepare quotations and efficiently process orders
- Work closely with a small, motivated management team
- Contribute to the company’s growth across the SADC region
Requirements
Tertiary qualification from a recognised institution
Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous:
- Production management and/or logistics
- Cross-border trade
- Warehouse management
- Bookkeeping
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
- Proficient in computer applications (Pastel, Xero, Excel preferred)
- Own reliable transport
