About the Role

Profile Personnel is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in East London. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our products. Your expertise in developing, implementing, and managing quality control systems and processes will be invaluable in meeting industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures to monitor and control the production process
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to established quality and safety standards
  • Oversee the testing of products for quality attributes, including sensory evaluation, chemical composition, microbiological safety, and shelf-life analysis
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and ingredients meet quality standards and specifications
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work on enhancing product quality and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in quality assurance and management within the food & beverage manufacturing industry
  • Sound knowledge and experience working with Quality Management Systems, including FSSC, ISO, and GMP
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to product quality and safety

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or a related field (post graduate qualification preferred)
