About the Role
Fusion Personnel is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in East Rand. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, and ensuring seamless logistics. With a strong understanding of the supply chain and adaptability to operational changes, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement and maximizing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations, disciplinary hearings, and attend CCMA cases
- Oversee housekeeping and enforce safety and housekeeping programs
- Monitor, train, and manage employee performance to ensure targets are met
- Supervise daily operations and ensure team productivity and time management
- Enforce standard processes, procedures, and management instructions
- Prevent and manage shrinkage, damages, and departmental expenses (e.g., overtime)
- Oversee logistics, stock control, and inventory management, including stocktake preparation
- Ensure stock levels align with demand and collaborate with finance on orders
- Develop inventory control models to reduce costs, shorten lead times, and optimize stock levels
- Ensure timely delivery of customer orders
- Supervise warehouse maintenance and stock arrangement
- Manage drivers and optimize delivery routes
- Conduct daily cycle counts
Requirements
- Five years’ experience in a similar role
- Computer literacy
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing staff
- Strong understanding of the supply chain
