Job Description
Responsibilities:
-
Azure Infrastructure:
-
Configure, deploy, and manage Azure services (VMs, App Services, SQL, Storage, Key Vaults, Front Door, API Management).
-
Support network integrations including Azure Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and Palo Alto Cloud NGFW.
-
Implement infrastructure changes via CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Terraform, ARM, Bicep).
-
Manage backup, recovery, and business continuity for Azure workloads.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure incidents.
-

Identity & Access Management:
-
Support hybrid identity infrastructure (Active Directory + Entra ID), including user/group management, synchronization, lifecycle changes, conditional access, and MFA.
-
Assist with Silverfort identity protection implementation and support.
-
Apply least privilege principles and manage server access (RBAC, group assignments).
-
Support privileged identity access and just-in-time controls.
-

Microsoft 365 & Collaboration:
-
Configure and support Exchange Online, on-prem Exchange, and hybrid setups.
-
Provide Tier 2/3 support for M365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
-
Support AvePoint-based M365 backup configuration, monitoring, and testing.
-
Contribute to M&A integrations, including M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
-
Support CoreView configuration, workflows, and policy enforcement.
-

Operations & Security:
-
Maintain internal and external DNS entries, ensuring zone file hygiene.
-
Manage internal PKI and external SSL certificates, including lifecycle.
-
Configure and tune monitoring tools for identity and cloud platforms.
-
Respond to alerts, support tickets, and participate in incident troubleshooting.
-
Assist in disaster recovery testing, documentation, and backup validation.
-
Integrate acquired systems securely into our global architecture.
-
Minimum Requirements:
-
3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud and identity technologies.
-
Solid working knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory.
-
Experience supporting Exchange Online, on-premises Exchange, and mail routing.
-
Familiarity with DNS, SSL certificate management, and hybrid identity scenarios.
-
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell or Python preferred).
-
Comfortable supporting CI/CD workflows.
-
Awareness of enterprise backup, monitoring, and DR strategies.
-
Hands-on participation in M365 or Active Directory migrations.
-
Strong written and verbal communication.
-
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and keen attention to detail.
-
Proven problem-solving abilities and a high degree of initiative.
-
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
-
General knowledge of software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
-
BSc IT, BTech, or equivalent degree.
-
Understanding of SQL Databases.
-
Exposure to Silverfort, CoreView, AvePoint, or Palo Alto Cloud NGFW.
-
Understanding of GDPR / ISO27001 / POPIA.
