Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assessment and reporting on existing buildings
- Preparation of tender documents (inclusive of drawings and bills of quantities)
- Preparation of reports (Project Inception, Concept and Viability, Design, tender evaluation, progress, financial, close-out, etc.)
- Day-to day contract administration and management of mechanical engineering projects
- Handling of technical queries and resolutions and leading Site and Technical Meetings on site, including the taking of minutes
- Communicate frequently with all professionals and clients
- Handling of technical queries and dispute resolutions in conjunction with others
- Assist with project safety and environmental matters during construction
- General office and project related admin
- Assist with the company when tendering for new work
Requirements
- At least a bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering
- Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist
- At least 6 years post-graduate experience in the planning, design and construction of Mechanical engineering and building projects from inception to completion
- Experience in HVAC, Wet Services, Fire Engineering, Lifts, Pump Stations
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, in particular ACC will be advantageous.
- Must be an effective communicator (personal, phone, writing, email, etc.)

- Salary: R500K/yr – R800K/yr, negotiable
