About the Role
Takora is seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in the Eastern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing bridge construction projects and providing technical expertise to ensure their successful execution. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee bridge construction projects from start to finish
- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
- Coordinate with stakeholders and clients as required
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering
- Labour-Intensive Construction unit standard at NQF Level 7 (SAQA-accredited)
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
- 8 -10 years of post-graduate site experience
- Successfully executed at least two bridge construction projects in a lead/site representative capacity

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
