Job Summary
Develop and implement training and development strategies to meet the needs of employees and customers while aligning with business objectives.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Plan and design learning programs in collaboration with subject matter experts and production teams.
- Create and customize training content, including technical and digital materials, aligned with production processes and national skills frameworks.
- Facilitate and deliver training interventions using diverse methodologies for varied audiences.
- Design and integrate assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and impact.
- Provide learner guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure skill acquisition and competency development.
- Support critical projects, including new model introductions, engineering changes, and automation technology implementation.
- Deliver foundational production skills training such as standardized work, multi-skilling, and problem-solving.
- Apply lean principles and production systems training.
- Innovate learning methodologies, incorporating virtual training tools, augmented reality, and e-learning platforms.
- Consult with all organizational levels to implement and understand training initiatives aligned with company goals.
Qualifications:
- NQF Level 6 degree/diploma in Operations Management, Electrical/Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience and Skills:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Advanced PC skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Business process mapping and data analysis capabilities.
- Team player with the ability to work independently on projects.
