About the Role
The Sales Manager will lead the company’s sales and sales strategy for the new addition of their “High Tonnage Mobile Crushing” division, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring operational excellence across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market expansion for mobile crushing and processing plants across Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales Team to deliver outstanding performance and consistently meet KPIs.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including key accounts and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with major customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
- Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
- Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and tender submissions to win new business.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns, promotions, and participation in trade shows and exhibitions.
- Track sales metrics, prepare forecasts, and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
- Conduct customer site visits and market engagement to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships.
Requirements
- National Diploma, BTech / BEng/ BCOM qualification in Engineering/ Business/Mining or a similar relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales, business development, or management, ideally in mining, construction, or industrial.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans; other languages are advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and passport and be available and willing to travel.
