About the Role

The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales team by providing administrative support and managing key performance indicators. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-driven individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update weekly sales dashboards
  • Track individual sales performance vs targets
  • Monitor pipeline activity (quotes, opportunities, conversions)
  • Monitor pipeline coverage vs monthly sales targets, identify gaps and flag risks early
  • Prepare monthly performance packs for management
  • Follow up with Sales Engineers on commitments and actions
  • Quote & Opportunity Management: monitor outstanding quotations and ageing
  • Proactively follow up with Sales Engineers on high-value quotations to improve conversion
  • Ensure correct margins and pricing structures are applied
  • Track quote conversion ratios per salesperson
  • Assist in improving quote quality and consistency
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and data hygiene
  • Pricing & Commercial Control: maintain pricing model including discount structures
  • Approve discounts within mandate
  • Escalate non-standard pricing requests
  • Support tender and large quote preparation
  • Track GP% trends across customers and products
  • Prepare weekly sales meeting packs
  • Record minutes and track actions
  • Ensure accountability on previous commitments
  • Coordinate quarterly reviews and planning sessions
  • Assist with sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Act as coordination point between sales, procurement and management
  • Help unblock internal delays affecting customers
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements
  • Assist in onboarding new sales staff with systems & processes

Requirements

  • Personality Traits: highly organised and detail-driven, comfortable working with numbers and performance metrics, confident communicating with strong personalities, commercially minded (understands margin vs turnover), process-orientated and disciplined, naturally proactive you chase, not wait
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 3 years experience in a sales admin/sales coordination/commercial support role
  • Strong Excel/reports ability (non-negotiable)
  • Experience working with ERP or CRM systems
  • Ability to work with targets, KPIs and performance metrics

Qualifications
