About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to join our 5-star boutique hotel in Midlands, KZN. As an integral part of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve gourmet meals to high standards
Lead a team of chefs and ensure seamless service delivery
Develop and implement menus that showcase local flavors and ingredients
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relations

Requirements

5 years or more of experience in executive chef roles
Proven track record of exceptional cooking skills and presentation
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Formal education in culinary arts or related field (Bachelor’s degree)

Salary & Benefits

R30,000 – R38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
