About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Junior Receptionist to join our medical aesthetics and skincare clinic in Fourways. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a welcoming, organised, and professional clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage daily appointment bookings and scheduling
- Confirm client appointments and manage cancellations or rescheduling
- Ensure a smooth client check-in and check-out process
- Client Administration: complete all client consultation and consent forms, maintain accurate client records and filing systems, capture and update client information in the booking system
- Assist therapists and practitioners with client documentation
- Client Communication: answer phone calls, emails, and messages professionally, respond to general client enquiries about treatments and services
- Provide basic information about skincare treatments
- Direct medical or advanced treatment questions to the appropriate therapist or practitioner
- Stock & Inventory Support: assist with stock counts and stock take, monitor retail product levels and notify management when stock is low
- Assist with organising and storing retail product
- Clinic Presentation: ensure the reception and waiting area remain clean and organised, maintain a welcoming and professional clinic environment
- Operational Support: support therapists and clinic staff with daily operational tasks, assist with retail product displays and organisation
- Help maintain overall clinic organisation and work flow
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Beauty therapy or skincare training is advantageous but not required
- Experience in a reception or administrative role preferred
- Experience in a beauty, wellness, or aesthetic clinic environment is advantageous
