Job Title: Business Development Manager
Report to: Head of SalesSeniority Level: Mid Career (2 – 4 yrs exp)Type: Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
- BDMs can manage the ‘power base’ within the ‘Buying Centre’. They are accomplished in Solution Selling.
- Articulate the client’s ‘compelling business need’ and develop a solution that satisfies critical elements.
- Lead demand-generating sales activities in the assigned market.
- Build relationships with Principal Vendors and negotiate pricing & procurement control.
- Coach and mentor subordinates in effective operations practices.
Core Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
- Achieve the annual revenue/sales target
- Lead demand-generating sales activities
- Convert sales opportunities to wins, track billing, and survey customer satisfaction
- Source and distribute relevant thought leadership and marketing material
