About the Role

The Corrosion Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all industrial painting and abrasive blasting activities on-site, ensuring that corrosion protection processes are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily industrial painting and blasting operations.
  • Ensure all surface preparation and coating applications meet required standards and specifications.
  • Monitor adherence to safety procedures, especially for high-risk activities such as working at heights and confined spaces.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and enforce site safety compliance.
  • Review and implement Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA).
  • Ensure all team members are properly trained, certified, and equipped for tasks.
  • Coordinate with project management and other site supervisors to meet project deadlines.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, and inspections.
  • Enforce legal liability and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) requirements on-site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Corrosion Supervisor within the construction or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial painting and abrasive blasting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Good leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
