Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement E&I systems for mining operations.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with MHSA, OSHA, and relevant mining regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of E&I equipment.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Develop technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and manuals.
• Oversee PLC, SCADA, and automation systems integration.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ years of E&I experience in the mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, and control systems.
• Familiarity with mining regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in OEM equipment design and fabrication is beneficial.
• Knowledge of project management principles is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power systems, AC/DC systems, motor control, and transformers.
• Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation.
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing schematics and layouts.
• Understanding of networking basics (LAN, WAN, cybersecurity).
• Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation standards, codes, and safety protocols.
