About the Role
The Employee Benefits Portfolio Coordinator role at Fouche & Co Recruitment requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to manage the effective coordination and administration of employee benefits portfolios. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure service level agreements are met, while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Process disinvestment and claims requests in line with regulatory requirements
- Generate, review, and submit ROTs and tax applications
- Process, validate, and authorize EFT payments and claim letters
- Manage section 14 claims, transfers in and out, and related reporting
- Oversee claims SLA management, tracking, and reporting
- Process and review month-end contributions and cash outflows
- Validate and authorize investment trades and pricing
- Manage section 14 and individual transfers into portfolios
- Prepare audit working papers and resolve audit queries
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and month-end accounting
- Compile and deliver client, internal, and regulatory reports
- Facilitate internal and external training sessions and client meetings
- Log, manage, and escalate queries appropriately
- Review, validate, and authorize portfolio transactions
- Plan, monitor, and sign off on daily activities and ad hoc projects
Requirements
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- Certificate of Proficiency in Retirement Funds (COP)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an employee benefits or retirement fund administration environment
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, including advanced Excel
- Everest system experience (essential)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Afrikaans proficiency (Preferred)
