About the Role
The Clinix Health Group is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team at Clinix Naledi Nkanyezi Private Hospital. As a key member of the hospital’s management team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial management information and overseeing the financial function of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, coordinate and provide high quality management information
- Oversee the financial function of Clinix Naledi Nkanyezi Private Hospital
- Define and execute an enterprise data strategy, including the establishment and maintenance of robust reporting systems
- Prepare the hospital’s financial statements according to internal CHG standards and in compliance with IFRS
- Ensure Masterfile of Financial information on the approved financial system
- Compile annual and interim budgets and report on variances
- Review and sign-off financial reports
- Build professional long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Investigate and understand stakeholder needs to enable delivery of a quality service
- Comply with cost controls in order to achieve section budget
- Report on cost usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and to streamline processes
- Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision-making purposes
Requirements
- Business Related Degree
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years financial management experience
- Sound knowledge of International Finance and Accounting Standards (IFRS), including the latest amendments in IFRS 9, 15 & 16
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- SAP non-negotiable
