Job Description Key Responsibilities Process and submit warranty claims for truck repairs and parts Check and verify job cards, invoices, and technician reports for accuracy Ensure all warranty repairs comply with manufacturer guidelines and policies Capture warranty claims on OEM systems Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding or rejected claims Correct and resubmit rejected claims where necessary Liaise with technicians, service advisors, and parts department for required information Ensure correct labour hours and parts are claimed according to warranty standards Maintain organized records of all warranty claims and supporting documents Prepare and assist with internal and manufacturer warranty audits Track warranty payments and ensure timely reimbursement Identify repeat failures or trends and report to management Handle customer or internal queries related to warranty claims Keep up to date with manufacturer warranty procedures and updates Ensure warranty store is kept in neat and tidy condition Ensure all warranty parts are correctly labelled and marked Ensure that parts are scrapped when authorized to do so Assist with service advisor duties when needed Regular interaction with mechanics, foremen, and service advisors Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12) Min 3-5 years experience in similar role Experience in automotive or truck workshop environment Knowledge of warranty procedures for commercial vehicles Computer literacy (MS Excel, workshop systems) Personal Attributes: Problem-solving and analytical thinking Strong organizational skills Customer and service-oriented mindset Team player Read and write English Confident & proactive approach anticipates issues and requirements
