About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned hospitality professional with hands-on operational expertise to join our team as a Hospitality Trainer. This role is ideal for someone who can combine coaching, training, and implementing measurable improvements across departments to drive service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver tailored training programmes for front office, F&B, housekeeping and leadership teams
- Conduct operational audits and service standard evaluations
- Develop SOPs and service manuals aligned to brand positioning
- Coach management teams on leadership, performance management and guest satisfaction
- Identify operational gaps and implement improvement strategies
- Support new property openings and turnaround projects
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Local citizens
- Minimum 5–8 years’ senior operational experience within 5* hotels
- Proven training and facilitation experience
- Strong understanding of South African hospitality standards and market dynamics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel nationally
