Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, plus qualification in business administration, event management, finance, sales, or related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as CRM software.
  • Strong up to date knowledge of the trends of the global film, events / conference/ hospitality/ restaurant industry.
  • Ability to work on HubSpot or similar marketing tools
  • Ability to build rapport and handle multiple client accounts.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership & customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, proficiency in English and one or more African language
  • Working knowledge, and personal commitment, to sustainability & environmental issues
  • Management & admin skills, & ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel could be required in this position

DUTIES

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing all communication in a professional and solutions-driven manner
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, market research, and strategic outreach
  • Conducting client needs analyses and preparing customised proposals, presentations, and strategic solutions aligned to business objectives
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing structures, and service-level agreements to maximise profitability while maintaining long-term partnerships
  • Driving account growth by developing and executing strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Managing the full sales cycle from initial enquiry and proposal development through to closing and post-project follow-up
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client and partner relationships, acting as the principal contact for all project development initiatives
  • Overseeing project planning, logistical operations, and on-site execution to ensure high-quality delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Managing events from initial client briefing and concept development through to execution and post-event evaluation
  • Preparing and delivering detailed account progress reports, sales forecasts, and performance analyses to stakeholders and senior management
  • Producing post-event reports, ROI evaluations, and continuous improvement plans to enhance future performance and client satisfaction
  • Addressing and resolving client concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of service excellence and retention
  • Representing the company as a brand ambassador, fostering strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contributing to overall business development strategy and supporting revenue growth initiatives
