About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to join our dynamic team at Premier Hotels & Resorts Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality upkeep of our properties and providing exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Proven maintenance experience (hospitality experience advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
