About the Role

Network Contracting is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our recycling operations in Gauteng. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation; implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead, train, and mentor managers and operational teams.
Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
Optimize processes using lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Oversee equipment maintenance, fleet, and plant machinery to minimize downtime.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.

Requirements

Extensive management experience in Waste Management, Recycling, or Manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, LRA, and BCE legislation.
Proven financial acumen and ability to analyze operational metrics.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Own reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma (management certification advantageous).
