About the Role
Network Contracting is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our recycling operations in Gauteng. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation; implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead, train, and mentor managers and operational teams.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Optimize processes using lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, fleet, and plant machinery to minimize downtime.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Requirements
- Extensive management experience in Waste Management, Recycling, or Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, LRA, and BCE legislation.
- Proven financial acumen and ability to analyze operational metrics.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Own reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma (management certification advantageous).
