Safari JOBS is recruiting for a Reservations Consultant to join a highly respected, award-winning safari hospitality group, supporting a portfolio that is recognised for exceptional guest experiences and consistently high standards. You will be joining a strong, structured, and fast-moving reservations team where reliability, accuracy, and a positive attitude matter. The role is permanent and based at the Gauteng Head Office in Pretoria, with an immediate start available. Clear criminal record Excellent employment track record – references will be verified Excellent English fluency (written & verbal) Matric / Grade 12 certificate Relevant Tourism related qualification 3 – 5 yrs experience in a similar role in hospitality industry Business administration experience In-depth knowledge of business and customer needs in Tourism industry (rates, activities, lodge operational procedures etc.) Efficient computer skills Able to travel when required Any Diploma or Degree Experience with the PANStrat Admin System : Able to work under pressure; Good judgement; Self-managed; Energetic and driven; Result orientated; Innovative Creative; Able to work independently as well as within a team. Creating and achieving a desired service level to both customers and lodge operations; Maximizing occupancies by filling empty room gaps; Liaising with and preparation for guests to enhance their experience at the lodges; Accurately managing bookings from initial enquiry to booking confirmation and payment; Receive and give feedback on telephonic, electronic and written enquiries; Professional and presentable always; Regular communication with clients regarding reservations; Timeous follow-ups on all reservations; Management of deposit payments and outstanding payments according to time schedule; Assist with all properties in portfolio; Taking calls, sending and replying to a high number of emails / / CTC remuneration of approx. R20 – R25, 000.00 PM – NEG. DOE and qualifications – ; Provident Fund, Group Life & Disability, Dreaded Disease Cover – Applicable after three months of successful employment Work Cycle/Hours: Monday to Friday as well as standby on some weekends & public holidays ( / ) Qualification copies must be presented during the interview process.
