Job Description:
– Take charge of all tax compliance – from provisional tax to deferred tax, across the group
– Manage SARS audits and queries like a pro (no sweat!)
– Prepare and review annual financial statements for the group and trusts
– Keep tax schedules up to date and help minimize tax exposure within the rules
– Provide accurate reports to the CEO, CFO, banks – basically, anyone who needs them
– Help with monthly balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger quality checks
– Pitch in on ad hoc projects and anything else the CFO throws your way
 
Qualifications and Experience Required:
– CA(SA) qualified – you know your stuff
– At least 5 years’ experience handling all tax types and SARS dealings
– Trusts experience? Big plus!
– Excel and Word wizardry (advanced level, please)
– Bonus points if you’re familiar with property or investments
– Sharp attention to detail, good communicator, and deadline ninja
