Warehouse Stock Team Leader

JHB – Northern Suburbs
Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 – 4 yrs exp)Type: PermanentReport to: Head of Operations & Sustainability & to Finance Department
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and control all aspects and activities within stock management
- Continuous improvement through disciplinary supervision of stock team
- Assess current stock management systems and implement solutions
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Lead and motivate team members to meet performance targets
- Maintain a safe working environment and enforce health and safety standards
- Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Increase efficiency and turnaround time of container offloading and packing
