About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join their team in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing large fleets and technical teams, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Manage large fleets (400+) and technical teams (70+)
- Oversee workshop operations and ensure efficient maintenance and repair of vehicles
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve services
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a Transport and Logistics workshop environment
- 5+ years’ management experience, overseeing large fleets (400+) and technical teams (70+)
- Trade Tested Diesel Mechanic | Auto Electrician or Equivalent Qualification
- Proficiency in MS Office and Fleet Maintenance Systems
- Strong knowledge of Volvo & MAN Trucks | Trailers | Reefers
- Valid Driver’s License
