About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-School Teacher to join our team at The Talent Room in George. As a key member of our education team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young learners and contributing to our school’s overall ethos.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, control, record and report on assessments.
- Attend meetings, forums and workshops relevant to the grade/phase.
- Create and maintain an educational atmosphere in the classroom.
- Take responsibility for all classroom equipment and stock.
- Collaborate with teachers in the grade/phase to ensure effective teaching delivery.
- Manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
- Plan, manage and assist with school activities, including sport and cultural programmes.
- Implement disciplinary measures within the grade/phase where necessary.
- Assist with sport and administrative duties as required.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to education.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: N6.
- Relevant teaching experience.
- Current SACE registration.
- CAPS curriculum experience.
- A strong passion for working with children.
- Excellent planning, organisational and administrative skills.
- A positive, energetic approach to teaching.
- Patience and compassion when working with young learners.
- A clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted).
- A valid driver’s licence is advantageous.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this role. However, a strong passion for education and a commitment to lifelong learning are essential.
