Job Description
Hire Resolves client is seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the operations in Germiston, Gauteng. The Shift Manager will be responsible for managing a team of employees, ensuring that daily production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on the production floor
- Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
- Train and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
- Handle any employee issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shift Manager or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
