Job Description

Position: Shift Manager

Hire Resolves client is seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the operations in Germiston, Gauteng. The Shift Manager will be responsible for managing a team of employees, ensuring that daily production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on the production floor
Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
Train and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels
Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
Handle any employee issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Shift Manager or similar role in a manufacturing setting
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
