Job Summary
Candidate requirements;
- Must have Grade 12
- Tertiary education in Tourism/Hospitality would be a nice-to-have.
- Must have 4 years of experience in a similar role. Preferably 5* establishments.
- Must have a good understanding of all functions of a lodge’s operations.
- Must be able to host guests and have an outgoing personality.
- Must have strong administration and organizational skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Will need to be responsible for all lodge operations and take initiative to solve any problems as they arise.
- Will need to create and construct beautiful guest experiences such as bush dinners, gin stops, and anything else that will add to the overall guest experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with good communication skills.
- Must be hands-on and will need to be actively involved in day-to-day operations by helping and teaching staff as needed.
- Will need to be dynamic and willing to fill in where needed.
- A driver’s license is essential.
