We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate line Chef to join our team at our beautiful Hotel located near Hartbeespoort Dam. The line Chef will be responsible for overseeing food preparation (hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastries etc.) and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate should have excellent culinary skills, creativity, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Roles and Responsibilities: Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes with precision and attention to detail, ensuring consistent taste, texture, and presentation. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times. Guest Relations: Collaborate with the management team to understand and meet the culinary expectations and requirements of our guests. If necessary, interact with guests, receive feedback, and address any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as a Hotel Chef or a similar culinary role in a high-volume establishment. Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and food safety standards. Ability to create and execute exceptional menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary restrictions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and interact with guests. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Grade 12 or equivalent qualification as well as relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
