Job Summary
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Guide for a luxury interactive experience based in Hazyview. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct interactive and educational guiding experiences for guests
-
Provide in-depth knowledge of local flora, fauna, and cultural heritage
-
Ensure the highest level of guest engagement, safety, and satisfaction
-
Support the guiding team through leadership and mentorship
-
Maintain guiding equipment and ensure vehicles are well-presented and operational
-
Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
-
FGASA Level 2 or higher preferred
-
Valid PDP and Drivers Licence
-
DEAT/THETA registered
-
First Aid Level 1 Certificate
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior guiding role, preferably within a luxury environment
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Well-groomed and professional with a strong guest focus
-
Ability to work well in a team and lead by example
-
Passionate about the natural environment and conservation
