About the Role
The Kids Club Activities Organiser is responsible for engaging, supervising, and entertaining children in a safe, fun, and educational environment within a Big 5 safari lodge. The role focuses on delivering age-appropriate activities that promote conservation awareness, creativity, and respect for wildlife, while ensuring the highest standards of child safety and guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Child Care & Supervision: Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety in a Big 5 environment.
- Maintain correct child-to-staff ratios in line with lodge safety policies.
- Ensure children follow lodge safety rules and wildlife awareness guidelines.
- Ensure all children are signed in and out by authorised parents or guardians only.
- Activity Facilitation: Assist in planning and delivering daily Kids Club programmes, including nature-based, cultural, educational, and creative activities.
- Facilitate games, crafts, storytelling, conservation lessons, and age-appropriate outdoor activities.
- Adapt activities according to children’s ages, interests, weather conditions, and safari schedules.
