About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Manager for a prestigious wildlife estate in Hoedspruit, South Africa. This vital role will oversee the estate’s financial heartbeat, ensuring absolute accuracy in accounting, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Full management of customer and supplier accounts, payment processing, and meticulous reconciliations.
Draft annual budgets in collaboration with the Financial Director; monitor Capex and operational spend via detailed budget-to-actual reporting.
Provide comprehensive monthly financial feedback to the Board and manage monthly VAT201 submissions and asset registers.
Oversee electricity invoicing, meter readings, and building deposit registers.
Manage MOI and rule updates post-AGM/SGM and assist with high-level administrative arrangements for estate meetings.
Participate in a standby roster (every third weekend) to ensure seamless communication and query resolution for residents and stakeholders.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Financial Management, or a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar senior capacity.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; specific knowledge of Pastel General Accounting is highly preferred.
Previous experience in Homeowners Association (HOA) management is considered an advantage.
