About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reception Manager to join our team at Leapfrog Hospitality Recruitment in Hoedspruit. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional experience and maintaining the high standards of our lodge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage reception area, including guest check-in, check-out, and room assignments
• Provide excellent customer service, handling difficult situations with professionalism
• Maintain accurate records, including guest information and lodge operations
• Process payments, handle reservations, and manage financial transactions
• Control stock levels and maintain inventory management systems
• Ensure seamless communication between guests, staff, and other departments
• Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and reporting

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality Management (Beneficial)
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end safari lodge or hotel
• Excellent Reception and Front Office control
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good understanding of lodge operations
