My Client a Building Materials / Hardware supplier ( construction and homebuilding) in Hoedspruit , Limpopo is urgently recruiting for a Yard Manager for this busy building supplier branch.

Remuneration

Requirements

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in a Trade – construction , building etc – preferred
• Strong verbal communication skills
• broad understanding of construction , home building industry
• good time management & organization skills
• ability to function effectively as part of a team
• dependable
• ability to understand and follow directions.
• Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Experience in Shop or Yard Management
• Building / Civil Construction knowledge

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage & Organize equipment & materials in yard
• Inventory Bulk Materials weekly
• Purchase, receive, and store bulk materials properly
• Organize & Maintain cleanliness of Shop & Yard
• Facilitate truck maintenance & trailers (along with other equipment)
• Weekly Shop Safety Inspections
• Oversee material waste and dumpster pickups
• Daily deliveries to jobsites (if & when required)
• Shop floor sales
