About the Role
Our client, a well-established seed breeding and production company, is seeking an Agronomist / Technical Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will combine their agronomy expertise with a dynamic sales role in the seed industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for seed products
- Provide technical agronomy advice to farmers and agents regarding product use
- Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of product trials
- Ensure new product information is communicated effectively to agents and farmers
- Deliver presentations at farmer days, study groups, and industry events
- Develop and meet sales budgets by monitoring and tracking performance
- Assist with stock takes and management of consignment stock
Requirements
- 25 years experience in seed sales or agronomy
- Relevant Agronomy qualification and practical experience
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, and speaking) essential
- Valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
- Own reliable transportation

R35,000 – R40,000 CTC
