About the Role

Our client, a well-established seed breeding and production company, is seeking an Agronomist / Technical Sales Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will combine their agronomy expertise with a dynamic sales role in the seed industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for seed products
  • Provide technical agronomy advice to farmers and agents regarding product use
  • Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of product trials
  • Ensure new product information is communicated effectively to agents and farmers
  • Deliver presentations at farmer days, study groups, and industry events
  • Develop and meet sales budgets by monitoring and tracking performance
  • Assist with stock takes and management of consignment stock

Requirements

  • 25 years experience in seed sales or agronomy
  • Relevant Agronomy qualification and practical experience
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, and speaking) essential
  • Valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
  • Own reliable transportation

Salary & Benefits

R35,000 – R40,000 CTC

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
