About the Role
A leading seed breeding and production company is seeking an experienced Agronomist / Technical Sales Manager to join their dynamic team, combining technical agronomy expertise with strong sales ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for seed products
- Provide technical support and advice to farmers and agents
- Conduct and support product trials and evaluations
- Present at farmer days, study groups, and industry events
- Achieve sales targets and manage budgets
- Assist with stock control and consignment management
Requirements
- 25 years experience in seed sales or agronomy
- Relevant qualification in Agronomy or related field
- Strong technical knowledge of agricultural seed products
- Valid drivers licence (non-negotiable)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, and speaking)
