About the Role

As a Plant Electrician, you will be responsible for the electrical maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring maximum plant availability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of plant equipment and systems
  • Ensuring maximum plant availability and minimizing downtime
  • Maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plant electrical maintenance and fault finding
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and PLCs
  • Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery
  • Sound understanding of GMR2 compliance and electrical safety standards
  • Experience working in manufacturing / mining / FMCG / heavy industrial environments

Qualifications

Trade Test Electrician (Red Seal)

Valid Wiremans License (GMR2)
