Job Summary
- Design and deploy production-grade voice and text bots that power smarter customer interactions.
- Build custom NLP/NLU solutions and QA systems for call audits and compliance.
- Architect AI models and pipelines that support everything from speech-to-text to generative AI.
- Develop AI systems that understand low-resource languages and expand inclusive tech.
- Integrate AI solutions across digital and voice platforms using APIs, REST, GraphQL, and cloud-based systems.
- Stay on the bleeding edge of innovation, researching LLMs, voice technologies, and Responsible AI.
Your Stack:
- Languages: Python (ideal), SQL, R, or Java
- Tools: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Azure, Git, Docker, API Development
- Concepts: NLP, TTS/STT, LLMs, Speech Analytics, MLOps
- Bonus: Experience with African language models and speech tech in contact center/BPO environments
You Are:
- Analytical, curious, and wired for problem-solving
- Comfortable working independently and in collaborative tech squads
- A great communicator—especially when breaking down complex tech to business teams
- Excited about the power of AI to transform customer experience
- Passionate about innovation, scalability, and clean, ethical AI design
What You Bring:
- Honours degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields (Master’s = major bonus)
- 0–2+ years of hands-on experience in building AI systems, preferably in NLP, STT/TTS, or LLMs
- Real-world experience developing bots and speech interfaces (or hunger to master them fast)
